Paradise!

A little hidden gem in Karatu, Eileen’s Trees Inn is tucked amongst trees and flowers. The staff is attentive, smiling and very helpful. The room is huge, bed very comfortable.

The food was delicious. A guest had a birthday while we were there and the staff came out with a cake, singing the Jambo song while dancing and banging their pots and utensils….a lot of fun. The birds were everywhere, there is a table of handmade baskets by the locals which had some of the nicest work we saw while on safari. Wifi available on the terrace by the reception.

Sweet place. Very nice staff.

Definitely a very sweet place. Not fancy. We stayed there for 3 nights. Not much to do inside the hotel premises, though they have a nice little pool. Wireless was OK – but not so good around meal times. Rooms very large and nice.

One of the best places we stayed in during our safari adventure

We stayed here for 2 (separate) nights during our visit to Lake Manyara and Serengeti. We were received with warmth and great service. The rooms are spacious and aesthetically pleasing, with access to a swimming pool.

The bed was super comfortable. The food is also great (special accomodation was made for me for vegetarian). During our second stay, we came early and were treated to some special treats while waiting for our room. Don’t forget to say hello the the awesome chef: Godbless.

I felt like part of the family. I’d love to go stay there again.

Such a nice surprise

We never thought we would find such a clean, beautiful place to stay in Africa. Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds are garden like and a great pool.

Our room was huge actually a villa with large walk in shower. Usually nothing works in Africa but this place is maintained very well.
